Peckham Fringe is back for its third year! The inclusive and dynamic performing arts festival showcases a lineup of artists and creatives. With groundbreaking emerging writers, moving new musicals, clowning and spoken word, it’s the festival for everyone!

Best Fit by Priscilla Khran, 03 — 04 May

Three women meet at a bespoke African tailoring shop and, in the midst of piecing together colourful fabrics, unpack their very different lives. Through heated debates, wardrobe mishaps and affirmations, Best Fit candidly explores beauty standards and the pressure to fit in.

MANDEM by Amelia Michaels, 14 — 15 May

Felix, Jermaine, Idris. Best friends, brothers, mandem. In the heart of the city; Felix is trying to live up to his golden boy online persona, Jermaine is forever chasing his mum’s nonexistent approval, and Idris just wants to get rich. As these three each take on the transition from boys to men, they soon realise the bridge between the verse and the chorus isn’t as harmonious as they were led to believe.

Hair That Defies Gravity by Joy Adeogun, 01 — 02 June

In HAIR THAT DEFIES GRAVITY, we are introduced to a tangled knotted web of females’ lives. Women from all ages, cultures and generations find themselves in this hub of love – yes, even a white woman – They are welcomed by her and her daughter Abidemi, who is on her own journey of discovery.

VEYIL by Adeola Yemitan, 06 — 07 June

A modern myth set in a time where our ability to “see beauty” has been stripped away by Powers Above. We humans got a little too vain… But a Girl stumbles upon a breadcrumb left by a Mischievous Being promising to restore that sight… for a price.
