POSITIVE

Positive by Temi Majekodunmi

13 — 17 May, Southwark Playhosue

Positive follows the journey of two gay best friends, Malachi and Ade. Malachi, confident and outgoing, is navigating life after a toxic relationship, while Ade, thoughtful and reserved, is secretly in love with Malachi and hiding his HIV-positive diagnosis.

As their lives intersect, both are forced to confront their personal truths and what it means to live authentically.

Through humor and tenderness, the play challenges perceptions of HIV, explores themes of sexuality, Black masculinity, and friendship, highlighting the joy and brotherhood of Black gay men.
